Yeppoon was quite a busy place, the beaches were OK .
We had a look at the singing ship at Emu Park which was put there in honour of Captain Cook who discovered Keppel Bay on which Yeppoon is situated. The ships mast is made up of a number of different length pipe and as the wind blows over them the ship "sings".
Yeppoon must be the only place one earth that does not have a MacDonalds!!
The main beach was nice, the water was very pleasant and there were lots of shells to be collected. The kids even found a washed up stingray. They are no longer crazy about going in the water, they much prefer pools. With the exception of Shanika there is no way of holding her back, especially when it is nice and calm.
Ian is finding the beach a nice place to practise his jumping!!
