I spent 2 quiet, peaceful, and enjoyable days in Placencia with Pat, a man I had met on the boat from Puerto Cortes.  Pat had many interesting stories about his life in India, Russia and Saudi Arabia, so we spent most of the time talking and relaxing.  Belize is a lot costlier than Honduras, and although there were many tours into the jungle and other parts of Belize from Placencia we decided against doing any of them.
