Well this was it our last stop in Oz and it really is a great city to finish in. We initially stayed in the really cool (and sorta Irish) suburb of St Kilda about a 20 min tram from the CBD. It had a great vibe about the places with cool bars, cafes and cake shops lining the streets. Chapel street nearby was also similar.
The CBD was also nice and I really liked the tram system which gave a nice atmosphere to the place unlike in London where the tube turns everyone into sweating, selfish Neanderthal's plus you get away with using it for free if your so inclined and playing the "I´m a dumb tourist" card!

Most of our time here was spent drinking (met up with Mick, Alida and Teresea) and recovering but we also managed to see our new team i.e St Kilda get destroyed by Carlton in the Aussie Football leauge. Not a great game to be honest and it just felt like watching a poorly organised game of Junior B Gaelic Football except everyone was the big full forward!
We also met up with Ned Kelly in the Gaol and saw a pretty funny play of his rise and fall. The actors volunteered people from the audience to join in and I was sure I was going to be a police man at one stage but they decided against it recognising that my acting prowess might upstage them. Not!

So that was it my fantastic 6 months in OZ finally over. I really had a great time (apart from those Sunday mornings recovering from Scruffys) and find it hard to select the highlights but I def loved the lazing on Bondi Beach watching the pretty ladies go by, boozing it up with the lads, road tripping the East Coast (especially Fraser Island with the beautiful Lake Mackenzie), the great bus trip that was the Desert Venturer from Cairns to Alice, Kings Canyon and oh ya that girl from Melbourne! NZ here I come!
