Well i thought it was white water rafting, but it was actually much tamer! Hamner Springs would be a boring little place but for the mountains near by, producing gorgeous gorgeous hot springs, hence Hamner springs, hot thermal pools and sulpher pools.
So off we went, so pleased to be able to prance around in my bikini just like yesterday! We first went in a private pool which was inside, really steamy and about 36C...v.warm compared to a normal pool if you can imagine.

Afterwards we went and tried out some of the other pools, they ranged from normal (about 26C all the way upto 42C!!!) walking between pools was the worst bit, the change in temperature made you so so cold, even though it was sunny out! The sulpher pools were really cool too, once you got used to the smell of the rotten eggs...felt strange though, not like real water, i suppose because of all the minerals, felt almost slippy on your skin...still not sure about it!!
Then we had a coffee for a bit, and went and got some lunch before coming back in to sunbathe (it got hotter) and prance around a bit more in between the pools. Highlight of my day was being asked out by uber hot lifeguard, to which i had to unfortunatley reply ("would love to, but i leave today!") very disgusted, typical to finally meeting decent looking guy who is not gay or interested in someone else!

Oh well, we are actually going white water rafting tomorrow...feel that maybe i will need hamner springs all over again after the bumping and aching due to come my way..
