We had an excellent trip on Canadian Rail from Woodstock to Montreal. At Woodstock, a few tears were shed. In particular, Debbie, Madeleine and Michel could not hold back the tears. It was real sad to leave loved ones behind. Never mind, the memories will live on for a long while yet.

The train trip itself was very pleasant with meals served onboard-air flights style. At Montreal, we were pleased to see Rowin (Mauritian in Montreal) coming to pick us up at the airport. I emailed Rowin (whom I only know via internet circle of friends worldwide) prior to our arrival and he kindly voluntered to assist and show us Montreal the next day. Rowin is a real gentleman and a treat to be with and after showing us around Montreal, he bought us lunch as well. We have invited him to come over to Melbourne ane we will reciprocate. Rowin, a very big thank you and you are a real international Mauritian. We also discussed the common Mauritian Community issues and oh yes, they have similar issues like the ones we have in Melbourne.

Montreal is a beautiful city with its own identity, capturing the bilingualism and everything is written in both French and English.
