... has been a delight after Cambodia (the hasslers capital of S. E. Asia perhaps?). I've seen some wonderful propaganda at the museums commemorating the Vietnam / America War. The museum talks all about atrocities committed by China and America respectively, but it says fuk all about the killings perpetrated by the other side bother before and after the war! They executed and tortured plenty enemy civilians and combatants themselves, but facts aren't good for shoeing how you defeated the mightiest army in the world! heh, that bit is quite good... they sure messed up the Americans some.

It seems today, although the government is still communist, the country looks very much like a burgeoning capitalist economy to me. So, as the guide on today's walk round the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, "No-one won in the end."
But anyway, despite that very small blip, Saigon has been great. I only hope the rest of my time here is as good. Have until 31 July here, when I take an overnight flight to Sydney, Australia!
