Well, all i can really say is I survived! A 4 day surf camp, easy i thought, no worries mate! God I was wrong. My poor body is battered and bruised, my liver is eroded due to the alcohol consumption...BUT...I LOVED IT!!!!

Booked myself on the 4 day Sydney to Byron Bay surf camp, I must say, with a few nerves. However it was the best 4 days of my trip so far! We surfed 4 hours every day, well everyone else did , i sent most of the time being dumped of my surf board into the water. I did manage to stand up by the 4th day, about 3 days behind the others, but hey i did it! The sangria flowed in the evenings in the cabins and we partied with the surf instructors. They were great fun, typical bronzed surf gods (i was hard ladies).

I don't think I will be taking surfing up as a hobby, i think body boarding is my thing (you don't have to stand up), but I loved being in the ocean and had the time of my life!!
