Today we hit the slopes in the worlds largest man made indoor ski slope. As I (Lauren) have never skiied before I had a discovery lesson where I learnt the basics of getting my skis on and off, walking with skis and slowing down and stopping! My calves were killing me the whole time, it is a definate workout. I loved the sensation of flying down the slope with the cold air on my face because believe it or not although it was minus 4 degrees in there I was boiling and wished I could be skiing in a T-shirt! I stacked it a few times but I managed to be able to stop at the bottom of the slope and only fell over when I was standing still!!!! Here's Justin for a more professional view....the skiing was awesome, if you come here its a must, about $50ish AU for 2 hours, includes everything except gloves, which are a nice souviner for about 20 dollars. the "snow" is not bad and the longest run is about 300-400 mtrs long, cant even imagine how much money must be in this place for things like that. they have beginner lessons if your not ready to jump straight into it. it has a chair lift that takes about 2-3 minutes to get to the top of the "mountain" was great, day pass was 270 dirhams i think, which is about $90, well worth the spend if your here with a few ppl...

skiing was awesome
