Our next stop was to be Darwin, so we continued on the Great Northern Highway.
The scenery became quite green and grassy the termite mounts are everywhere.
We stopped at the Katherine Hotsprings for a quick dip. It felt great than we continued driving since it was cooler to drive at night.
As the sun set the scenery was beautiful and red. We did not turn of at the Bungle Bungle Ranges but looking at the mountains around us we could well imagine how impressive they would be.
We found a spot to park in Pine Creek for the night.
