I never thought that I would fall in love with South America in such a short period of time. Argentina just adds to the incredible opinion I hold of this fine continent. Places like Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and Bueros Aires in Argentina have this awe about them that make even the old folks feel young and vibrant. The culture is so full of life and color that everyday brings something new. Dancing, eating, shopping...everything is done so differently...its enchanting. Its like feeling a heightened sense of happiness all the time. If Buenos Aires was a person I would describe it as hot, adventurous, flirty, easy going, and tons of fun! With a description like that...my conservative friends are probably thinking i´ve lost my marbles but my most ´fly by the seat of your pants friends´ are dying to get here and start living each day like its their last. Am I right?

Five days here is enough to see all the landmarks but not nearly enough to feel it all. Its almost like i´m cheating the city by leaving after such a short period of time. Rach and I took in a tango show. The dancing is so sultry and seductive that you can´t help but sit at the edge of your seat. The best part of this event: dinner, two bottles of champagne (a lil bubbily for the evening!), and the tango show was only 15 bucks a person!!! Pinch me because i think i´ve died and gone to heaven.

We also took in our fair share of Evita sites. The museum, the famous casa rosada, and the cemetary where she and a bunch of other really rich people are buried. She was an incredible woman, but i kept thinking about Madonna singing don´t cry for me argentina. This city is also great for shopping! Shoes oh how i love shoes, and it just so happens that Argentina does too. Many hours were devoted to shop browsing. We also celebrated Rachel´s 23rd Birthday yesterday! Another fun ladies night!

God love Argentina because they are big fans of steak. Meat is their pride and joy. With delicious wine, food, and entertainment all at a low cost...who can refrain from visiting here or moving here for that matter!
We are told that the best part of Argentina is the amazing buses. Rach and i leave for Mendoza tonight. We splurged ($50) for the cama suite, which are seats that turn into entirely flat beds. Plus you get first class service including champagne on our drive. Salud! I`ll let you know how it goes!
