We were up at 5:15am and shortly thereafter we disembarked in Melbourne. We drove past Geelong and on to Bells Beach at Torquay. This beach is famous for surfing competitions but had minimal swell that day. This is the start of the Great Ocean Road. We drove on enjoying the spectacular coastal scenery which is not easy for the driver. Finally we set up camp at Apollo Bay.
