So summer is drawing to an end and the sun is being replaced by rain as the nights get colder! I haven't seen rain quite as heavy or thunder as loud - very cool!

As part of the Midummer celebrations, crayfish is eaten! We had crayfish...and true to tradition, Vodka - a shot after each crayfish is eaten! Every time the glasses are refilled, everyone has to sing a swedish song - there were some strange sounds coming from the courtyard..!

A week later I visited Malmo for the last time - its a really great city - small but some beautiful old historic buildings!

I went to Stortorget, Malmö's largest square built in 1536, which has the town hall and also a great equestrian statue of King Karl X Gustav. Also explored the a market square called Lilla Torg (Little Square). It's a really cute and charming square with lots of outdoor restaurants, that are full in the summer...but dead, when the winter hits.

I also saw Pirates of the Carribean at the movies in the city centre.
