Kinsale in is one of the most picturesque, popular and fashionable resorts of the south-west coast of Ireland. Famous for its yachting, sea angling, gourmet restaurants and golf.  The rain, which by now had become a major feature of the trip, had taken on a sort of on-off / on-off aspect as the weather switched every 10 minutes from Rain to shine like someone somewhere was flicking a switch.

Eventualy the rain took control and we resigned ourselves to finding some shelter in yes, you guessed it, a pub with a fire and some Guinness. The Bullman Pub / Restaurant had not one but two roaring log fires and as we sat looking out at the waves crashing on the rocks we sipped our Guinness and listened to the chatter of the locals.
