At school I had to years of Italian lessons so far and last summer I went to Florence for an intensive language training together with my class. We really had a great time! I had already been there before with my family, but only one day.

But Florenze is also a great place to travel alone! (I returned two weeks later by myself) Firenze is definetelly one of my favourite places that I've seen so far. There are historic sights and art wherever you look - it's amazing! Palazzo Vecchio is a must-see as well as Giardino Boboli! It seems like everything you would want to know about the Renaissance is cramped together in Florence... but yet it is not too big a place so that you can still find your way. There are also lot's of international students too, so the nightlife is good too! I can only recommend a trip there!

My favourite place in the world!
