Denali was rainy and overcast most of the time we were there.  However, we visited the Visitors Center, the Bookstore, rode the bus to Toklat river, drove several times to Savage River Turnaround and went on a Jeep safari.

We stayed in Riley Creek Campground at Denali and really enjoyed being closer to nature.  (NO Hookups)

Mountain, mountain, who's got the mountain?

We did not see Mt. McKinley but did see many bears, moose, ptarmigans, caribou, Dall sheep. and even a wolf.  Even foggy mountain scenery is beautiful.

We went on a Jeep safari on the Stampede Road into the backcountry near Healy, AK (12 miles from Denali).  We started out on pavement, went to gravel and then to a what was refered to as the "bobble-head" road.  Jimmy loved it.
