The First of Many

Today I awoke and It was light Steve was driving and the mountains were around us it was pretty cool because I don't get to see mountains everyday.  We did a lot more driving and by around 3-4 pm eastern time we reached Mesa Verde national park.  We explored it for awhile it was pretty hot outside.  It was a pretty cool park the worst thing about it was that we had to drive up a mountain to get to it.  I think I may be scared of heights or maybe just because we were up like 8000 feet and some of the turns had no guard rails.  Dan drove us up there but I wanted to drive us back down.  I guess I wanted to be in control if anyone killed us it would be me? wow that sounds wierd but I think it is funny or wierd or maybe crazy to think about.  We made it down safely.  Now I am sitting in a motel room it is pretty cool the bed is way better than sleeping in a car with three other dudes wll I hope the bed will be more comfortable then that. haha.
