Forster
From Travelling Down Under! in Forster, Australia on Dec 21 '06
Forster is a tiny little town in what is known as the lakes. Not a common venue for backpackers, more a holiday spot for the Australians.
The main reason for our visit was we had booked to swim with the dolphins. Apparently there are only 14 places in the world you can do this and Australia has four of them.
Unfortunatley however due to really bad sea conditions our trip was cancelled and we were unable to reschedule. We did however see the wild dolphins playing in the bar which was amazing. We saw four at once including one with a baby.
Other than the dolphins there is nothing else in Forster. To Adrians dismay there where no pubs!
We had a BBQ and visited the beach, however was pleased to move onto Port Stephens for christmas.
