The gang (Caitlyn, Tirza, Mark, Paul and I) headed downtown for some pizza and sight seeing. Gino's East is known for its guest-graffitied walls. Visitor's marks were all over: sharpied, whited-out, penciled, and etched. "J.E. loves K.R."; "Darrin was here"; "Chris S. 8/19/04"; and all the rest. We ordered one vegetarian and one combination pizza. I love deep dish! (For those ordering deep dish in Chicago, remember they take about 45 minutes to bake, so order appetizers and salads to keep you busy.)

After our tummies were filled we headed out to walk around downtown. I had already been to downtown Chicago twice in the Fall, so we passed many of the familiar sites: the river, buses, streets, traffic, shops, and museums. We ended up stopping at the Apple computer store and spend quite some time playing with all of the gadgets. I even had enough time to attend an informational presentation on how to use iTunes.

After our time at the Mac store we met up with Jason at Ghirardelli's. There were two mochas, a hot chocolate, and a warm caramel fudge ice cream. Yummy! We headed to see a movie next. I wasn't too thrilled about seeing "Date Movie" and I was even more unimpressed after having seen it.
Modes of transportation for the day: Walking and bus-riding.
