It was a horrible bus ride away from the city of London, and once there, we only got our adventure really going on Saturday, meaning that Friday was a fairly wasted day. Saturday my two activities were Viking Boat Sailing and Hill Walking.
Viking Boat Sailing would have been even more fabulous had the weather been better. We were in the second most rainy part of England, so not too much was expected. It was a large boat and the 10 or so of us rowed it out, put the sail up, floated around, got soaking wet from the rain, tried to row back, and eventually the leader woman radioed for help. A tow boat with a motor pulled us back to shore. :). But it was really fun and great nonetheless.

Hill Walking was very scenic and we walked to a farm, up a bit of a waterfall (or next to one... but I didn't go the whole way as I was too tired and sick to try...), around near a farm, down to see another waterfall between the mountains, and back the road to where we were staying.
On Sunday, I spent the day in Keswick itself (the town) which was really quaint and fabulous. I bought a Marshmallow Kebab at this candy store (which was covered first which belgian chocolate and then sprinkles) which was lovely; and we walked to see both the Pencil Museum and Puzzling Place (but didn't enter either). Then back on the bus, and back to London we went.
