Our hotel was outside of Lucern in Fluulen.  This little village setting is just amazing.  The mountains are gorgeous and it is just really peaceful.  If I had any complaint (and there are few), I would say that the train that passes the hotel regularly could be annoying to some.

We left the hotel for Lucerne this morning and a little tour of the city.  The Germanesque architecture is awesome!  Switzerland has had the best exchange rate so far... about 1.20 per $1.  Then it is off to Mt Titlis in the Swiss Alps.  We took a cable car to the top - about 10,000 feet.  WOW, just amazing!  We even took a ride on the Ice Flyer which is a ski lift.  There was snow everywhere, but not really that cold.  And really nice people... I bought a post card in the gift shop and afterward decided to get a stamp as well, but didn't have exact change and the girl just gave it to me with a smile.  You don't see that everyday!

For dinner we just ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was really good.  I wasn't too hungry, so I just took Kelsey's salad that came with her dinner, which I found out later was a take what you want salad bar and they had really nice choices and it completely filled me up!
