We arrived in Mission about midday with the intention of spending about 3 days there, by 1pm the area was thoroughly explored. Our main plans for Mission was to do our Tandem SkyDive so we went to book this with 'Jump The Beach' for Tuesday, to our surprise they said that we could do the jump there and then so we did!

I dropped James off at the bus station (wouldn't of helped if we had remembered the way) then rushed back to the skydive centre/house (!)

We had 60 seconds of freefall, the sky was clear and we got to see the Great Barrier Reef!

We had opted for a 14 thousand Ft Tandem skydive and a dvd of the jump. Before we knew it we were being strapped into our harness and the filming had begun. Vicki's dive instructor was called Marcel and cameraman was Andrew, mine was Adam and cameraman was Igor. So we all set off to the airport (by this time we had received about 30 seconds of training?! thankfully there was no 'what to do if's......!!)

On the way to the airport the dive instructors were discussing how to make our skydives interesting (as if they wouldn't be anyways!!) they came to the dicission that my tandem dive was going to be part of a formation dive, myself the instructor, another jumper and the camerman! Vicki's instructor decided to tumble out of the plane, sounds fun?!?

So.. off we go, 15 mins later the door was open, the sexy glasses adorned and we were away.

We fell out of the plane and got down safely...thats the only bit we can put into words the rest was just too awesome and very amazing. We had 60 seconds of freefall, the sky was clear and we got to see the Great Barrier Reef and Mission Beach as we jumped. We were both given the opportunity in the drivers seat (hehe) and both jumped at the chance to steer!!!!

Just look at the photos and you'll see how much fun we had!!!
