We started the day with a fairly traditional breakfast just down the street from my cousins house. Who said English food was bland. Our first food experience, was a dinner from Jane that would topple anything that I had sat down to at a house in Canada in recent memory (with the exception of Angela's dinners!), and now this. Go English!

After breakies we headed to Green Park station on the Piccadily line. We tried to get into the Ritz to check it out, but we were stopped by the man at the door who informed us that the Ritz is "formal dress". I didn't think that they could still get away with that!

"The Ritz" with it's matching half million dollar Rolls-Royce. The car is actually painted that rich Ritz blue.

We hiked through green park to Buckingham Palace. For TWO HOURS we watched the changing of the gaurds. At on point the stood in one spot for half an hour and played music. I recognized "I was made for lovin' you baby", so I sang for them.

We headed up the street about a KM to The Houses of Parliament (Big Ben) and Westminter Abby. We wanted to tour the Abbey, but it was 10 GBP to get in ($20.10) and you were not permitted to take your camera, yeah right. Skipped it.

Over the river Thames we found a Starbucks, what a relief. A coffee that I can count on. Our day was perforated by several Starbucks experiences that kept any possible visits from "Mr. Jet Lag" at bay. No lag at all, I might mention.

Green park. Aptly named I suppose.

Post morning caffine injection, we headed down the rest of the "South Bank" and saw The Tate gallery. I was VERY excited to see the Millenium Bridge and walk over it (Thank You Discovery Channel). We even had the pleasure of stading in front of City Hall, which is the exact same shape as Amy's head.

Back over the river we went on the famous "Tower Bridge" often thought to be "London Bridge". We were very blesssed to see the bridge open for a little sail boat when we were on it (We managed to get out of the way).

Buckingham Palace, the changing of the guards. I was made for lovin you baby, you were made for lovin me!

After a long day of walking we were getting a bit lathargic. We jumpted the tube over to "Enbankment" and walked up to Trafalgar Square and Piccadily Circus.

Home for anohter delicious dinner by Jane and a few late night beers with CM.

This has been a great trip so far. I think that from now in I will be writing less and trying to communicate our travels with photos. I will likely only be writing about the funny or scary parts of each day so not to bore you!
