PEI (Prince Edward Island) was a lot farther from Montreal than we thought. 500 miles and 2 days later, we crossed the world's longest bridge over ice covered water (no ice that day but 13 kilometers nonetheless) to reach this island. Besides visiting Anne of Green Gables landmarks, we drove through beautiful deserted countryside, saw a large wind-power farm, and visted the Celtic Dance Acadamy. We left by ferry so we could see the traditional way of island access.

PEI - When we were young, my father considered buying a farm there. We kids were all exciting about getting to move somewhere. Little did we know it would have been far more remote and rural than where we already were. Thankfully, he didn't follow through!
