rio de  janeiro - finally i arrived, almost a month after entering brazil, after planing to be in brazil for not more then 3 weeks, i arrived to the city were it all happens....  actually i don´t really know what happens here - i spent most of my days shopping for presents and sending them home!!! such a relief to be done with that (not entirally true - still have 4 more to go. kineret, moshiko, meirav and noa - i havn´t forgaten you!!!!). so day one - we arrive, rest for a bit and to tell the trith i can´t remember what we did the rest of the day, i do remember cooking dinner, and meeting two israeli guys - aliran and jacki, i think meytal stayed to talk to them, all i did was read a book and go to bed....

waking to another rainy day in brazil, the four of us went to copacabana beach in serch of a nice fair to buy presents, looking for the roxy cinema - this took the longest time ever, each time we asked where is it, we were told 3 more blocks till we reached the cinema i think we passed 10 blocks at least!!! but we did get to eat popcorn and see a nice movie with meril strip and  uma torman, the best thing about the movie was that it was about a jewish mom - so much from the way she acted was like my mom, i just couldn´t stop luaghing!!!! later that night - the guys cooked (as they did for the rest of our nights there - thank you guys!!!) and after that we went to disco in copacabana - can´t say it was a great party, and it was very disapointing for what i excpected of rio....

on sunday morning i woke up and had a day for my self just going to see the suger loaf, pâo de acucar, where a had a great view of all rio - what an amizing city!!!! the houses are on the hills them self, between the trees - not having bald hills because of houses but really  a combination of nature and man.... and the bay was huge!!! so many boats they looked like ants for up there!!! later i went to see jesus - while going up in the train rain started and the train went into a could , all the way up i hoped that it will end or that we will rise above the cloud, but as i steped of the train, went up the elvaitor and looked up - i saw nothing!!! the statu id huge but the cloud was so thick that if i streched my hand infront of me i will not be able to see it. i started laughing - a jewish girl going all that way up to see jesus, just to find out that she can´t see him at all, i wandered was it god saying to me - you shall not make status of me, like is belived in jewdiasm, or was just my bad luck hunting me again - rain in brazil, will it ever stop??? so as my dear brother said, and as i knew before, jesus is not the guy for me.... coming down from the mountain all wet to the bone, i took a bus to the hostel hoping to meet the guys and mwytal there and go together to a football game in maracana. when i arrived i found out that they havn´t come back, and that they were looking for me, but gave up and allready went, so i took my wet cloths of and shivering from such a cold day i went for a nap hoping to warm up. in my room i met a spanish girl that wan ted to see the game also, but had to do some things before so we said that when she comes backl we´ll go together, in the meanwhile i fell asleep.... when i woke it was to late to see the game, but we went anyway just to see all the people coming out and to see the estedium - it was huge!!!! and even if we havn´t seen the game just being there was amaizing!!!! when we came back we met the guys and meytal, had dinner and went to sleep tired.....

our last day in rio before leaving was as i said all about shopping, we spent so many hours walking around looking for things, that in the end we just felt so tired we couldn´t stand on our feet!!!! again at night the guys cooked and after out last dinner together we went to sleep....

the morning after - the package was sent - 10 kilos of my back!!!! my tent was sent with the presents and all i needed to do now was just get to buzios!
