We traveled for a majority of the day to reach Budapest. At about five in the afternoon, we had a guided tour of the Heroes Square and the Castle district. Afterwards we went on a delicious cruise along the Danube River. It had some breathtaking views as well as an array of Hungarian cuisine. After the cruise, a majority of us decided the night was not over and went to hit a local club with Roddy, our bus driver. The open-air club he selected was bustling with people from all corners of the globe. After a night of exhausting fun, Leo, Delaurie, and I shared a cab back to the hotel.

Friday July 8 2005 Budapest, Hungary After a late breakfast, we went on a public transport frenzy trying to find the shopping markets. It took us nearly two hours to get to the market place which should have only taken s about 30 minutes walking! Everyone was extremely willing to help us but none of their advice proved helpful! At any rate, we did a great deal of shopping and sightseeing. Next, we visited The House of Terror Museum. This site was once the Headquarters of the Hungarian Nazi. It was such a mind blowing experience. At this point, Delaurie and I were exhausted and decided we’d be content finding St. Steven’s Church and working on some emails. Soon thereafter, we had dinner at the hotel and ended up resting our evening away.
