Part 2 of the Moose Trip....

Brian picked us up in a fancy bigger bus with louder music and we headed up the Sea to Sky Highway towards Whistler. Along the way we stopped at a pretty lake and had lunch. There were some girls from Quebec in our group and they along with the German girl were eating very healthy lunches, lots of carrots, apples, salads and tuna - and don't forget the bagels! Bagels are an instition here so I ended up trying a few different types besides plain, like cinnamon, blueberry and choc-chip, and cheddar.

We stayed in a hostel that was definitely more like a chalet than a hostel. The rooms were still dorms but the place was like a nice house in the country. When everyone else went into the village to shop I stayed back and sat out on the decking surrounded by huge trees and just chilled out. I looked for bears out in the woods but only saw squirrels. Probably a good thing. That night a few of us cooked a group dinner and had some white wine. Then everyone went out to party but I decided to go in the hot tub instead.

The next day we took the gondola up to the mountain top and it was beautiful. I haven't seen snow in years so that was fun. It was so hot up there, about 28 degrees! The Whistler village was interesting enough but didn't do much for me personally. Lots of shops and starbucks etc. Had fun playing in the snow and Aaron filmed me while I ran really fast down the hill and tried to ski in my docs. Did the whole angel thing in the snow and had a few snowball fights.
