Staying with our friends for a week, and then diving on a live-aboard
- Mah, there is a spice garden called Jardin du Roi, where you can get informations about those exotic fruits and spices
- Botanical Gardens, Victoria
- hiking you should definitly check out the route from Cap Ternay to BeauVallon or vice versa
- Sauzier Waterfalls, located on the western side of Mahe Island near Port Glaud..not too many visitors know about it and it is a beautiful walk...you have to walk into the 'jungle' past a bunch of Creole homes which is very interesting to see. When you get to the last home, there is a little animal farm which looks abusive to animals
- Praslin: " Valle de Mai". That's were the Coco de Mer grows, also look for black Parrots
- Best Praslin Beach - Anse Lazio, NW
- La Digue Island - bicycle, but not from Tin Tin ($$, bad shape),
- La Digue beach - Source D'Argent, also Grande Anse, Petite Anse, Anse Cocos and Anse Svre
- La Digue Island - L'Union coconut and vanilla plantation
- La Digue - Fruit bats in the wooded areas and near fruit plantations on the way to Anse Bananae on the eastern side of the island
- Top of La Digue, "Eagle's Nest" and the "Pavillion" (333 meters). From the populated western side of La Digue, near the top end of the bird preserve (road goes up slightly north of there) you proceed up the hillside called Belle Vue dotted with family houses along the paved road. Road curves to the left in its upper part, and comes to a shrine. Here the road splits and you can choose either, as the roads, soon becoming trails meet higher up, but say, take the paved road right. At the end of the road is a family house. Continue straight up past a shed and you will see the trail commencing, curving left, and then shortly to the right and up. Continue along this trail (it doesn't branch) for about 15-20 minutes uphill, and you should find yourself on the top ridge, a saddle, the spine of La Digue. Go to the left and look around from a beautiful clearing with interesting vegetation and views of Felicite and Marianne Islands. Turn around and proceed south on the saddle, and you will soon find yourself at the highest spot, with a peak marker.
