We're in Paris!

Hello everyone!!  After several days of travel via airplane, the London Underground, the Eurostar (under the English Channel) and then the Paris Metro, we have made it to Paris.

Our flight over was smooth, nothing really to report about that.  London (for the 24 hours we were there) was great and very enjoyable.  We checked into our hotel on the Norfolk Square and then made our way over to a local pub across from Kensington Gardens.  After several pints of beer we were both a bit buzzed and tired and headed out for a brief walking tour of the gardens.

Sleeping didn't go as planned, we both woke up around 2am and after an hour or so of talking and trying to go back to bed we decided to break out the portable dvd player and watched a few episodes of Nip/Tuck!

Today we made our way to the Waterloo station and boarded the Eurostar train.  2 hours later (20 min at 100 mph under the channel) we arrived in Paris.  This evening we walked around, checked out a few cafes and found an awesome crepe place. We have decided to spend a few days here touring the city and seeing the sites.  Our next stop will be the southern coast of France, most likely Nice where we are planning to meet up with our good friend Dan Saxe.  Dan is somewhere in Spain so where and when we will get to see him is still to be decided.
