Half way to Chiang Mai

We got a government bus from Bangkok after our third day, as we decided we had seen all the sights. The bus was cheap, about three pounds, but didnt have a toilet or air con so was uncomfortable. Also, the Thais never stop for toilet breaks!! Owen and I were dying but were too scared that if we got off we would be left. The bus to Chiang Mai takes 14 hours which we thought was too long, so we went half way to Sukhothai. Arrived at about 6, found a place and had something to eat, not a lot else to do there. The next day we got another bus to Chiang Mai.
