Well, here I am in Anchorage. Everyone else has left.  Gladys and Susan yesterday and Michele today...well at least in theory. Rumor is that Michele is still at the airport waiting for a very delayed flight.  Anchorage is just as great as the rest of Alaska.  Good food, lots of wonderful sights, friendly people and all around relaxing.  Hiked the coastal trail yesterday and biked it today.  we saw lots of moose - up close and personal - quite scary, really.  The brewpubs here are fantastic.  I hiked Flattop mountain, which was worth every single step - and steep steps they were.  The weather has been fabulous and finally saw Mt McKinley - Gladys it does exist!!! Not looking forward to the heat of TX, but sure miss Georg and family.  AImee is holding down the home front for me, which is so well appreciated.  Check out the moose pics, these were all taken in city of Anchorage!.
