We took a 3 day bus tour to the city of Antigua, Guatemala.  Antigua is among the world's best conserved colonial cities.  It was once the third most important Spanish colony of the Americas.  More than 30 monastic orders called Antigua home and built stunning monasteries, convents and cathedrals int he town.

We visited the Parke Central and talked to several of the indigenous people who were selling beautiful necklaces and jade earings.
