Out of toothpaste and Shampoo at an all-time low
From From the corner of Beni and Villaroel in Cochabamba, Bolivia on Aug 15 '06
Today is our last day in Bolivia. The grandparents have been helping us pack, I’ve never seen any people so thorough! If you care to join us as we unpack all our catalogued and cushioned items you’ll be in for a treat. Dear daddy here we come!
We’ve been really busy packing everything in. A HUGE family reunion on Saturday, lunch we the boys that Grandma and Grandpa disciple, a reunion of Christian friends on Monday, charango lessons, last minute shopping, and playing a last soccer game with the Don Abram gang. Unfortunately, both Don Abram and Eddie got hurt in the process, and it looks like Don Abram’s tendon is ripped!
Time to go home!
Then this morning I went to represent our family at Urkupina and was within 20 feet of the President and Vice President. We had a lesson in charango, bought another one, and had lunch at Claudina’s. Anyway, there’s a lot that I haven’t written about from the past couple weeks, and sorry about that, and anyway, I’ll put together a slideshow or something and you can talk to us in person and ask about fun times at Kewina and such.
Ciao!
