Salmon River Valley to Montana

It was raining during the night and the dirt roads were quite muddy this morning. Perfect for a 4x4! I spent 3 hrs on dirt roads and also made a little bypass over a very rough road. Along the Salmon River is a beautiful valley where a lot of stops were necessary for taking pictures. My destination today: Butte, MT. An old mining town, which I will explore tomorrow morning...

Es regnete in der Nacht und die unbefestigten Strassen waren ziemlich schlammig heute morgen. Perfekt fuer einen 4x4! Ich bin ca. 3 h auf unbefestigten Strassen gefahren und habe mal einen Abstecker auf eine sehr holprige Strasse gemacht. Entlang des Salmon Rivers verlaeuft ein wunderschoenes Tal wo man viele Stops fuer Fotos machen muss. Mein Ziel heute war Butte, Montana. Morgen werde ich die alte Minenstadt etwas genauer anschauen...
