Bath was my first stop on my own.  I arrived extremely late, to a party hostel.  Picture a cave-like bar in the basement, with semi-stoned travellers from various parts of the world listening to Pink Floyd and drinking cheap bottled beer.  It was super fun, but not too clean.  The rooms were labelled by musical style, rather than number.  I slept in the Kenny Rogers bed in the Country Western room.

It was at this hostel that I met my first few fellow travellers.  One girl offered me my first breakie there - yogurt.  It had little crunchy bits in it, and was some of the best I'd ever had.  My trip began to feel magical.  I felt taken care of by the universe, as I was provided for in ways I hadn't planned.

One of the travellers was a swiss girl by the name of Simone.  We toured the city together on foot, checking out the roman baths, as well as a local art museum.  We would end up travelling together to our next destination.
