Leaving Glocester, Rhode Island

Finally we will be off after canceling this trip from Spring 2007 because of a medical emergency for my husband two days before we were to leave.  Up we will go and be on the road (interstate 395 to 95) hopefully at 4 in the morning to try to get through CT & NYC before 8.  We will eat breakfast and take a break on the New Jersey Turnpike, which is the cheapest place to get gas on the eastern seaboard.  Then drive through New Jersey and through Delaware and hopefully be in one of the  Delaware State Parks before the late afternoon.  This is a long day and our longest day that we will drive on our eight week trip but it has to be done.  We try not to drive over 250 miles a day and for most of this trip it will be well under that but today it will be over 400. Someone needs to build a campground off the turnpike in southern New Jersey for those traveling up and down interstate 95.  We have not found one yet that is reasonable and that we like.
