Unfortunately whilst we were in Roatan the weather was not good. The first day we couldnt get the ferry as it was unable to get to port due to the bad weather. The next day we managed to get out there but it rained all day. Finally the last day the weather was slightly better. I had signed up to snorkel with dolphins but this was cancelled and we were offered an alternative to stand up to knee deep and be "introduced" to them. Basically they feed the dolphins to keep them coming back to the resort and you can pet them etc. I declined to do this. I dont like the idea of petting wild dolphins and I really disagree with feeding them to come back as it upsets the food chain and makes them tame and unable to fend for themselves. Instead I took a wonder around town (very small) and was lucky enough to get a visit to the doctors courtesy of being ill for the last five days.Luckily he spoke english and hopefully I am on the mend now!
