6 hours in Amsterdam

Dave and I flew the first leg of our trip together (we read, ate peanut butter m&m's, and he taught me ''must know'' Greek phrases.  When we got to the Amsterdam Schiphol he had to catch his flight to Athens right away..I on the other hand had a whole morning/afternoon to kill!  I had originally planned on getting out into the city..but just as I landed in Amsterdam..I got really homesick....I know..Pathetic!!! I think it was just being scared about not knowing anyone in Cyprus..and Dave heading out in his own direction...but I decided to suck it up..and finally got out of the airport. A 15 minute train ride got me to the center of the city..where I walked around, checked out some coffee shops (but resisted you know what) and had some lunch...It was pretty...really cool canals everywhere...but from that short visit..| guess Im indifferent about the city...in any case..here are a few pics from Amsterdam!
