Another day at the Space Centre.  Tour was at 10am.. finished about 3pm and they showed us the launch pads lined up off the Atlantic Ocean which was really interesting..  We found out about the solid rocket booster, the external tank, the orbiter , the white room, the main engines and what bits drop off where and where and how they land and what bits can be re-used for the next shuttle..  I have to say, I love the fact that the kids (and us) are learning so much without studying.. just casually strolling about on holiday becoming informed.. it's pretty cool..   After the Space Centre, we headed for Fort Lauderdale to spend the night.. couldn't make it as far as Miami..we'll head down there tomorrow.  Florida is a BIG place.. I'm so glad the weather has been beautiful, it makes life so much easier to look around when the sun is shining and there are no signs of snow around.

Arrived at Fort Lauderdale around 7ish and then headed out for dinner.. Miami tomorrow.

Didn't see Major Anthony Nelson or Major Healey today.. damn !!! But we DID see the front of the single story building used in the show..
