I'll bet most of you had thought I'd fallen off the perch as it's been a week since I've updated the blog.. what can I say, we've been busy and we ARE on ollideez you know but I love that everyone is keeping up to date and emailing us to make sure we're ok when I haven't been as efficient.  :)

Woke up at 7am and decided to have a shower.  The ground had iced up overnight.. opened up the door to Missy and down the steps and wooooooooooossssschka .. A over T in the ice !

Oh what a great start to the day !

I think this is about my third accident and now I'm so paranoid walking in the ice, I want to buy some spikey soled shoes.. perhaps not entirely fashionable, but those icy areas are a chiropractors dream!

Off to Walmart to do a spot of food shopping and then we cross the border to Michigan (again) and headed to Detroit.

So.. just a driving day, didn't get all the way to Detroit, only as far as Monroe, Michigan and headed to our campground (Camp Lord Wiling)

Lois took us the long way off the highway and Greggy was just giving me 'the look' - like we were just turning and turning down a bezillion roads and we were going to end up in someone's farm or something.. but I had complete faith in our Lois and we got there.  The drive (with all its turns) was just beautiful.  All the streets were german named (must be good huh !) and some of the farm houses were so pretty.

Tomorrow, we'll head toward Detroit, Ontario and then Niagara Falls..  I hope it's not going to be too cold... (yeah right.. who am I kidding, we're going further north)
