Driving to Colorado was a bit of a task. The whole trip took 19 hours with a 2.5 hour nap in Fleming, Nebraska. The weather was questionable with snow and ice underneath. Between 3 and 7 AM I was going about 30 to 40mph behind plows with semis streaming by. Then Sarah and i debated just going to Denver where her departure flight was, but when it came time to turn off we found the energy to drive closer to the Mountains. We got into Boulder about 10 AM Mountain Time and plopped down in the first hotel we found off baseline. It was a room with two beds and a construction site next door and styrofoam cups (the real reason we moved on). But once we got unpacked we realized we were not as tired as we first believed and spent the morning tromping around the University of Colorado campus, which was expansive.It also had the best stonework i have seen in my life, every building looked like a power ranger blowup of a spanish colonial mansion with terracotta roofing. My mind immediately wanted to bottle this hippie town up, check craiglist for a sublease and plant my feet down. But as the day progressed i realized that this i just the beginning with Boulder sticking firmly in my head as a place in which i would like to not just visit but live. There are trails everywhere and the mountains are always at your side. People are all about the outdoors and the sidewalks and bike lanes are extra wide. also the downtown  walking mall area is filled with galleries  coffee shops, and interesting places to eat. There are three whole foods grocery stores in 3 square miles, and the population of boulder speaks recycling.

So as you all might know I dislike planning but with my residence being my coche, a brother has to find a place to lay his head.  Here it is reserved and paid for, I know I'm half grown
