So with an entire extra day in Fairbanks, I wake up early, well rested, and head out to the Sourdough Cafe for some reindeer sausage and eggs. Then I head to see the big man himself in the North Pole, Alaska! :)
Lastly I head out to Chena Hot Springs Resort. At the end of its self named road sits a beautiful cabin like resort. $10 will get you a day pass to the natural hot spring pools. one indoors and one outdoors, all powered by natural spring water. Imagine laying out in 40 degree weather because the springs are that warm and comforting!! Top it off with a fresh and natural lunch and its a recipe for a very healing day!

Back in town 3 hours before my flight, I grab a good movie, some more souveniers, and settle down in the terminal, all by myself, to enjoy dinner and a movie before a very very long night of traveling (which will involve 4 different planes, and a trip to San Jose, before I can get back home).
