Marche, marche, visite, marche !!!
From AMSTERDAM in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Sep 05 '08
In Amsterdam, Joëlle and I visited museums such as the Sex Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. We also went around the canals with a Tour boat... on which Joëlle slept :p. Our next destinations were the Anne Frank House and the Bloemenmarkt.
It was so impressing to walk through the halls of the Franks' hiding place. We were in Anne's room and could imagine where she was writing her diary.

As for the Bloemenmarkt, it was so cool to find so many flowers for such a cheap price. Although that market was very much "touristy" since there were a lot of souvenirs to buy.
In Amsterdam, there were many Coffee shops as well. Those famous places where smoking pot is legal... haven't been yet.
On the 2nd of October, Joëlle and I, together with our friend Morgan (moved here from Calgary) went back to Amsterdam. We walked through the Red Light district... Everything you hear is true I guess. Of any ages, the women are lightly dressed, standing in front of a red lit window. Behind them you can see the beds... and more... Lively and yet normal atmosphere was felt.
