To say I saw many mornings would be a lie. Buenos Aires does as it says on the tin: inebriate. A mirror image of a European party city, with added tango & spice.

Pleasant on the surface, but scratch a bit and you´ll find all sorts, good and bad. Open air percussion bands and club fulls of teasing women. Cardboard shanty towns and beautiful sunset strewn parks. A cocktail of people milling around busying themselves with their white and blue collar day to day.

It´s a city that deserves a visit and invariably rewards a long mapless walk.

The budget hostals are nothing to write home about. Crusty bread or stale cornflakes usually welcome the early riser accompanied by watery coffee if your lucky. But the nightlife party atmosphere has a way of lingering in the daylight, forgiving most discomforts.

It´s a city that deserves a visit and invariably rewards a long mapless walk. Yet, after acquainting myself with the unfamiliar, such as Evita´s grave, the ecological reserve, the Boca district, and others. After having walked around about as many ´barios´ and ´plazas´ as I could stomach, I was full.

In essence, Buenos Aires is much like any big city. If that´s what floats your boat you´ll stay longer soaking up the tango and spice. I was happy to see my replacement bank card play it´s way into my hands and merrily drift on.
