Hot Springs and on to Texarkana, TX

Motored by car over to Hot Springs, AR to the National Park.  Absolutely lovely and plenty of things to see.  Several of the bath houses are being renovated, Oaklawn Park thoroughbred race track was closed for the season, but Teddi had plenty of souvenir shops to visit.

Soaring above Hot Springs is the National Park Tower complete with another souvenir shop. We were thrilled to learn that although Hope, AR is the birthplace of William Jefferson Clinton, he grew up and attended school in Hot Springs.  Yeah right! His boyhood story is displayed at the Tower.

On the road the next morning to Texarkana, TX and arrived early afternoon after getting lost by inaccurate directions - had to turn around in little country baptist church.  The nicest and well kept campground so far.  Concrete pads to park and all the amenities.  Wish we could've stayed longer but had a deadline to keep in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Poots is becoming more and more used to traveling.  Is starting to camp out on the dash at night hoping to converse with other visiting felines.  How thrilling!

On to Dallas/Ft. Worth actually Arlington, TX.  to visit TX cousins.  More later.
