Two days in Singapore

Arrived on Saturday evening, to be greeted by my friend and host, Simon.  We ate satay in one of the many hawker centres, before spending the rest of the night in a bar, drinking Tiger and smoking a lemon flavoured shisha!

I took a stroll through the Botanical Gardens and along Orchard Road on Sunday, after getting absolutely drenched in sweat using the running machine in Simon's gym.  On Monday, Simon showed me around and we went briefly to Chinatown, Little India, got a view of the city from the location of Bar New Asia and of course, had a Singapore Sling in Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel.  I accompanied Simon to a dinner party later that evening, where I had some delicious quails eggs and caviar, along with a Mojito made by Simon.  Unfortunately I missed dessert, as I had to flee to the airport to fly to Sydney.
