Took the morning ferry for Nanaimo, Vancouver Island but unfortunately it was a dull/misty morning so we didn't get any good photos. Our destination was Tofino, a further 5 hour drive on the pacific coast.

Stopped for a short stroll through Cathedral Grove en route. You'll know your somewhere special as you drive through it, but taking a stroll, gives you a real perspective on these magnificent trees, some of which are over 300yrs old!

We finally arrived to Tofino and set up camp. It was a tight squeeze to get our tents in... no space between us at all. However, we were camped up right beside the beach, so after nice walks along it and some rock climbing, we didn't mind.

Ben cooked up some fresh salmon (yummy), we got the fire going and sat up chatting for most of the night, wondering would the raccoons pay us a visit and would we be lucky enough to spot some Orcas the next day.
