We said goodbye to Italy.  Time to begin saying Danke (Thank-you).  We would only be in Innsbrook one night...so we saw the main square and took in a local Folklore show.   The town square was interesting.  Maximillian (one of the Hapsburg empire) built a little golden roof over a doorway so he could look out into this square.  We climbed a bell tower and then sat in an Internet cafe for an hour.  Later that night the show was a hoot!  Yodelling...woodcutters dance...more accordian players.  This show had a harp player and I learned what a Psaltry is.  It's like a lead guitar except you play it on your lap.  Looks like it has about 6 or 8 strings and you pick the music while you strum or pick with a thumb pick.  We took quite a few short video clips on the digial camera to catch the sound and action.  These guys were very funny.  The room was filled with people from all over the world and the show ended with the performers singing songs from around the world as they waived the appropriate flag.  Those in the audience, from the same contry sang along.  For Canada they did some song only I knew.  I think it was the theme song from 1967 cenntenial.  Then we sang Alouette-Jeante-Alouette and of course we could all sing along to that one.
