A quick catch up with friends Ian and Trish in Carlisle saw us being thoroughly and heartily welcomed to the Lake District, despite the language barrier(!), and over Fosters and an excellent lunch all the news had been caught up on.

With our limited travel time, and Ian and Trish going on a holiday to Canada, we were sorry not to be able to spend more time with them... but maybe next time!

hi guys, sorry i havnt been in touch.have had a few trips to brissy cause of Bills dad.trying to get organised to bring them out here to live.So have been busy,busy.Any way,had some more rain here 7everthing nice and green.Lots of wattle everywhere. your pics look really nice.Dad looks like he's doing it tough :-)) Hope he had an icecream for me!!! lots of luv deb &Bill
