On our first day in New York we stopped in Buffalo to check out the city and devour a plate of buffalo wings at Anchor bar. (where buffalo wings were invented) Overall Buffalo looked a little more like Detroit than Toronto, but the Art Deco City Hall was really cool. We took the elevator to the 25th floor and walked up 3 more flights to the outdoor panoramic deck.
Then we drove to the Baseball Hall of Fame located in “America as it was meant to be” (otherwise known as Cooperstown, NY). Museum was very cool -- I especially liked the memorabilia from Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson. Cooperstown is really adorable, filled with quaint shops and beautiful victorian/colonial homes (each of which has an American flag out front). As we strolled up to Doubleday field with ice cream in hand it felt like a perfect summer day in America. Wish you could have been there!
