OK, another week of Spanish ... or let´s face it: it is a try - not more and not less than that. But it is fun, don´t get me wrong!

Every morning I am going to school, have fun there (by the way, I really meet nice people there - from US, Norway, Munich (that guy was soooo sure that I am from Stuttgart when I talked to him in German - Martina and Tine, thanks to you - I know, that you loved that :-) ...) and England. We went out for couple of beers at night - doesn´t help the Spanish, I know! But it is fun :-) ... ) and in the afternoon I see the people from the tourist information center and listen to their English for 1 1/2 hours. After that they teach me some Spanish as well ... lots of fun and I actually learned a lot of Quito, Ecuador, the culture and people and some really important words in Spanish (¨pinche¨) during this two hours. I am really glad, that I have this opportunity! On Wednesday also here was Halloween - it was fun, but not as crazy as in the US. Thursday I got a new Spanish teacher (I thing here name is Betsy or Betty - one or the other, I will let you know as soon as I find out). Accordingly to my new teacher she doesn´t know what happened to my old one, but I have the strong feeling, that she got fired ...

In my hostel were a lot of french people beginning of the week, but later that week everybody was from England / Scotland (as the  one guy pointed out). Lots of interesting people with the weirdest life stories to tell. I had a great week, it just wasn´t that great for my Spanish - too many interruptions - if you now what I mean ;-) ... one night we were out and the bar suddenly played German music (Toten Hosen, Aerzte). The owner lived in Germany for a year and when he heard that I am from Germany he just couldn´t resist :-) was actually fun! But next week will be the week of SPANISH!!! I will study, only study and the my rest of my time of the week I will use for studying - well, won´t promising anything *lol*.
